The management comprises the rector, prorector, the director of Kunsthal Charlottenborg and the director of administration and finance.
The Schools of Visual Arts and Kunsthal Chalottenborg focus on artistic education and exhibitions respectively. The management team consists of the rector, pro-rector, the Kunsthalle director and head of administration. The Kunsthalle and the Schools of Visual Arts have a joint administration.
Since 2023, the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts has a Board, which handles strategic management and has overall responsibility for the running o the Academy, the finances and the development.
The Academy also has a Student Council (De Studerendes Råd (DSR)) as well as a Study Board with employee and student representatives and a Liaison Committee with representatives of employee groups and management.
